If you’ve ever wanted to play one of those games where you have to guess the amount of sweets or something inside a jar to win whatever prize. Well now you can! With the Mazuma Mobile Cube Challenge. You could win £5000 just by guessing the amount of mobile phones inside the Maz Cube.
How many mobiles are inside?
Who knows! Only Mazuma. But it’s hoped one lucky winner will guess right. Or guess the closest amount to be a winner. Use the image above to have a guess. But there are more images of a the Maz Cube on the Mazuma Mobile Facebook page at http://facebook.com/mazumamobile if you want to see more pictures of the Cube and get a 360 degree view to help you make more of an accurate guess.
Some tips for you.
- The Cube dimensions are = 1m³.
- There are between 1 and 999,999 mobiles inside the cube.
The Mazuma Mobile Cube Challenge is free to enter. You don’t need to recycle a mobile phone with Mazuma to enter the Maz Cube competition and have up until the 31st January 2010 to enter. Only one entry per person is allowed and the person to guess the correct number or closest to it is the winner. Charlo Carabott, Managing Director explained why Mazuma are running the competition. He said “The competition is a reminder that there is cash to be made from old working and no-working mobile phones. The average working handset received by Mazuma is worth £35 in cash for customers. In the run up to Christmas we see an influx of phones coming in from people hoping to make some extra spending money. Then in the New Year we anticipate receiving close to a staggering 200,000 phones from people who get an upgraded mobile phone for Christmas.”
The basic rules:
- One entry per person
- UK residents only
- Participants under the age of 16 must seek permission from a parent or guardian
- The correct or closest guess wins £5000 in cash
- If more than one person answers correctly, then the cash prize will be shared equally
- Competition closes at midnight 31st January 2010
